Descripció
Sumari:This paper presents the design and construction of a digital meter prototype based on the Arduino Mega 2560 development board. The electronic meter allows to visualize the energy consumed in kWh of homes with single-phase power supply systems achieving to know this parameter in real time. In addition, the prototype displays voltage, current and power values, the design is divided into three important stages; The first stage is aimed at installing the power supply system which is responsible for feeding with the public power supply or with a 12V battery, the latter serves as a backup in case there is no power supply to feed the measurement components, The second stage consists of the adequacy of signals from the current and voltage sensors that will later be censored by the ATmega 2560 microcontroller which will be responsible for processing the characters of these sensors in turn performing the relevant calculations to obtain the variables to be measured by means of a mathematical and logical process carried out in the Arduino IDE, The third stage consists of the assembly of the elements according to the design established in the ISIS Proteus software, these modules are continuously coupled to a plastic box that in its front view shows the liquid crystal display coupled to observe the variables measured by the device. Finally, using the acquired data, a comparative analysis of the digital recorder system with the conventional measurement is performed.
