Caracterización y Evaluación de sustentabilidad de los sistemas de Producción de Leche de 30 familias del Barrio Chiag, Cantón Sigchos, Provincia de Cotopaxi 2020.

The present research was generated with the purpose of studying the social and commercial aspects that characterize the milk production system. This was done in Chiag, neighborhood with the purpose of characterizing and evaluating the sustainability from 30 families producing the Dairy Production Systems (SPL) in Ecuador according to their regions with the objective of identifying limitations, potentialities and interactions that determine their productivity and sustainability. In the Productive Units (UPA's), it was observed that the main source of economic income is milk production, since it is distributed through intermediaries, for which prices vary from $ 0.25 to 0.45ctvs per liter of milk. The sustainability or sustainable development is integrated in the daily life that is used in different sectors such as: the media, in the academic and institutional environment, as we can observe in the social environment that the responsible of the unit and production is managed by 86.67% men while 13.33% are women, also expressing a level of secondary education with 36.67%. Characterization is a type of qualitative description that can resort to data in order to deepen the knowledge to qualify something. Previously, the data must be identified and organized from this, described in a structured way and later, its meaning must be established.
