Modelo de gestión administrativa para la Secretaría General de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi.

This research project focused on proposing an administrative management model for the General Secretariat of the Technical University of Cotopaxi, the main problems of the secretariat are focused on the lack of knowledge of administrative processes, lack of personnel and the service provided. by the unit. The objective of the proposal is to provide solutions to the detected needs to improve each phase of the administrative process, therefore, a quantitative methodology was used in the research through descriptive and bibliographic research with a non-experimental design through a cross-sectional study. The research methods that were used were the deductive and the synthetic analytical; The techniques that were used for the development of the proposal were the observation technique, the interview and the survey through the instrument the questionnaire that facilitated the data collection through a guide of specific questions directed to the personnel. For all the aforementioned, the administrative model was designed according to the needs found in the secretariat, obtaining as a result better waiting times in the procedures, reduction of excess work and a better work environment so that, through the proposal, verifies that the incorporation of a model will increase the productivity and performance of all personnel working in the unit, considering that the administrative process is of great importance since it allows correct administration of resources, thus improving the services provided to the entire university community. The beneficiaries are the Secretaries of the faculties, the extension of Pujilí and the Graduate Academic Unit of the Technical University of Cotopaxi and the administrative staff of the General Secretariat.
