| Samenvatting: | In the Technical University of Cotopaxi there is a shortage of equipment for the performance of laboratory practices, that’s why it was necessary to repower the Air Conditioning module. The present technological proposal was made in the laboratories of the Electromechanical Engineering Career, in this thesis there was a lack of demonstration elements. Therefore, the equipment was set up in order to automate the air conditioning module and their main objectives were to improve the module’s quality, control every element that exists in the system but the most important thing is to give the students the opportunity to put in practice the theory learned in class. The Air Conditioning module has to principal elements an S7-I200 PLC and a HMI screen they allow automate the machine in an efficient way and also incorporate a new coolant the R-134a, this improves the thermal conductivity of the system. In conclusion, the results of this project are to improve the coolant system, to build a new structure and automate the HMI interface that will allow to practice and take advantage of the benefits of the equipment. |
