| Summary: | The companies in the Ecuadorian market maintain a sustained growth, which for the sales companies especially means to maintain their competitiveness, to fulfill it they take decisions in the management area which are risky. For this reason, to minimize the risk of losses in sales, it is essential to have information in quantity and quality. At Inames, the information available to examine potential strategies in the area of sales is not accurate, which means investing more time in the process for decision-making process. By virtue of the above, we propose a business intelligence model based on six phases that go from planning to the implementation phase. For the design of the model, the most important characteristics of the models, methodologies and approaches were analyzed and recorded, allowing the development of business intelligence models. The data was obtained through an expert survey that allowed the model to be validated through a simple correspondence analysis using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and the SQL Server Analisys Service (SSAS) tool. As a result of the research, a model is obtained that will allow the processing, transformation and display of vital information for decision making. This will allow the company to take necessary key actions that can be translated into benefits, thus obtaining an advantage over its competitors. |
