La “Implementación de Voz sobre IP en la “Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito 9 de Octubre Ltda..”, es un trabajo investigativo basado en el aprovechamiento de la red y ancho de banda que posee la Institución en sus tres agencias, ubicadas en Salcedo (Matriz), en Latacunga (Agencia 1) y en Mulalillo (Agencia 2). La Telefonía IP es una aplicación inmediata de esta tecnología, de forma que permite la realización de llamadas telefónicas ordinarias sobre redes IP u otras redes de paquetes utilizando una PC, gateways y teléfonos estándares.
