Add Tag | Summary: | This project describes the process of developing a computer system that will minimize the search for employment in the city of Salcedo in the Province of Cotopaxi, since this city has increased its population over time and therefore new professionals have emerged and when it comes to getting a job it is an extremely tough competition since it involves expenditure of resources such as time and money, Another factor that prevents communication between employee and employer is not knowing where to look for a job, the lack of advertising media and the scarcity of job portals and websites, in turn there are people who do not even have time or do not know how to develop a resume design that is presentable to others and present outdated that causes a bad impression. Due to this problem, the development of a web application that offers a job bank was carried out, thus allowing to speed up the search for an available vacancy. For the development of this system, free development platforms were used, choosing to develop in the Laravel framework, based on the programming language PHP and as a storage medium the database manager MySQL. For the agility in the system process, the SCRUM methodology was used because it helps to work together with the Incremental Iterative model allowing the proper organization of work throughout the development cycle and in turn allows direct communication between the client and the development team to obtain greater productivity and quality of the final product. Finally, we can mention that the web application developed registers companies, employees, shows the list of available job offers and has a link of the job applicant to the existing vacancy, with the implementation and proper use of the tool will achieve better communication between employee and employer. |
