Streszczenie:The purpose of this project was to characterize the efficiency of operation El Camal wastewater treatment factory, to propose mitigation measures for the impacts generated. This investigation was carried out because the operation observed does not comply with certain Physical, Chemical and Biological parameters. Being its objective to improve the discharges of sewage to the Cutuchi River from the sewage system of the surrounding areas. To justify the objective, several activities were developed such as: the current diagnosis of the factory where the problems were identified, followed by the characterization of the wastewater at two points (entry and exit), which were sent to the laboratory. Subsequently the calculation of the efficiency of the factory was made, determining that it has a low efficiency of 55.14%, being parameters that do not comply with the permissible limits and others have a low efficiency. To finalize the investigation, the calculation of the proposed measures was made to guarantee the reduction of contamination to a body of fresh water. In order to comply with this, the flow rate is measured, with the beginning of the development of taking measurements, such as slow sand filters that will reduce the presence of fecal and solid coliforms as well as increasing the efficiency of sulfates and (BOD5), a chamber of chlorination to disinfect the water and discharge directly into the Cutuchi River. The investigation was delivered to the relevant authorities that will have the responsibility and implementation of these measures to increase the efficiency of El Camal sector treatment factory, it is expected that the removal of fecal coliforms will be 90.75NMP / 100ml, sulphates 6.9mg / lit, total solids 116.8mg / lit, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5)
