For this reason, the present work entitled Feasibility Project for the Creation of a Multifunctional Furniture Company in the city of Latacunga was proposed; The specific objectives were based on identifying the conditions and characteristics of the supply and demand of multifunctional furniture through market research, developing a technical study that estimates the necessary resources for the optimal production of multifunctional furniture and determining the feasibility of the project through the economic evaluation. The applied methodology was based on a quantitative descriptive approach. The target population reached 22,779 families, with a sample of 378 households, which were surveyed according to a sampling plan. The financial evaluation determined the feasibility of the study with a NPV of $146,923.18, an IRR of 35%, the cost-benefit ratio was $1.70 and the calculated recovery period was 3 years, 5 months, 9 days. |

Por ello se planteó el presente trabajo titulado Proyecto de Factibilidad para la Creación de una Empresa de Muebles Multifuncionales en la ciudad de Latacunga; los objetivos específicos se sustentaron en identificar las condiciones y características de la oferta y demanda de muebles multifuncionales a través del estudio de mercado, desarrollar un estudio técnico que estime los recursos necesarios para la producción óptima de los muebles multifuncionales y determinar la factibilidad del proyecto mediante la evaluación económica. La metodología aplicada se sustentó en un enfoque cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo. La población objeto alcanzó las 22779 familias, con una muestra de 378 hogares, a quienes se realizó las encuestas de acuerdo a un plan muestral.
