| Shrnutí: | The main objective of this current research is to propose the implementation of the Lean Six Sigma methodology in the area of raw materials in Holcim Ecuador S. A. Latacunga Plant, which production process is the grinding of cement and its distribution in the central part of the country, the area of raw material complies with a logistical process of reception, transportation and storage of Clinker and Gypsum, these two are fundamental materials of the cement recipe, the proposal of this project aims to propose the implementation of Lean Six Sigma as a fundamental base methodology for solving problems, existing in the area. The DMAIC tool was used as part of Six Sigma, starting by defining where areas of the company have been described, present machinery in the raw material area, transport companies, type of raw material, flow chart of the logistics process for receiving raw materials, in the measuring phase, Sigma indicators of the area have been established and what are the potential causes that induce it. Therefore, obtaining a Sigma level of 0.48 which belongs to excessive reception process times and net weights of both Clinker gypsum bathtub tippers , on the other hand, in the analyze phase, the causes that promote the problem and their impact were identified through NPR, thus in the improvement phase it is possible to use the 5’s technique of Lean, giving improvement plans for the causes. , in this way it could be possible to attack the cause from the root, finally the control phase has contingency plans that will allow verifying compliance with the proposal if it is approved, it is important to mention that this document presents proposals, which can be modified as required by the transportation analyst in charge of the area. |
