Προσθήκη ετικέτας | Περίληψη: | The objective of this investigation is to evaluate the protection system and the reliability indexes of Substation 21 Epiclachima of the Quito Electric Company, with the intent to reduce disconnection rates, improve the quality of the electrical service, and consider a possible homologation in the use of fuses for the primary and secondary branches in the network. The protection coordination and the reliability analysis of the system has been completed using the CYMEDIST and CYME software, and a study was carried out to determine a possible improvement for the disconnection rates and the quality of the electrical service. The same software was used to verify the ways in which the protection and reliability systems fulfill the standards of regulatory agencies. |
