| Summary: | This research focuses on the graphomotor games and the reading and writing skills, which are fundamental processes for the human being. Due to the project’s diagnostic entitled “Graphomotor skills in the development of reading and writing at the preparatory level” where the qualitative approach allowed to know the children’s reading and writing levels by applying graphomotor activities. It was a descriptive study since this research told the reality without any modifications. Through using the inductive method, it was possible to determine that the teacher was no using playful teaching methods. The techniques and instruments were the observation and its record card, which were used to evaluate the skills previously mentioned. The interview and its guide were applying to evaluate the teaching work. Thus, it was established that due to the lack of stimuli, children showed difficulty to read and write. For this reason, the objective of this project was to put forward a guide for graphomotor games through the inquiry and creativity. This guide will help children of the Unidad Educativa “Belisario Quevedo” of the Pujilí canton during the school year 2023 – 2024, have optimal development in the reading and writing processes. This was a constructivism proposal where each game has a title, a skill, objectives, materials, development, an evaluation instrument; besides, they were successfully assessed by experts and users. In conclusion, the abilities to read and write could be enrichened if they are developed through the use of games. Therefore, teachers and parents should innovate and contribute to children’s learning in a playful way. |
