To develop this work a bibliographical-documental and field research was applied to take out the theory-scientific fundaments that support the relationship between artistic activities and the development of emotional intelligence in children. On the other hand, the field research allowed the direct observation of the development of interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligence of children from an initial level of education, it was done with a qualitative and quantitative approach that reached an exploratory approach to the research. According to theoretical revision, emotional intelligence is defined as the ability to feel, understand and apply effectively the power and sharpness of the emotions as a source of human energy, information, connection, and influence.
