Итог:Due to the strong changes and crisis in the labor sector, where today the market demands more skills and knowledge, companies have to make an exchange to meet the challenges that arise since the satisfaction and performance of its workforce depends on it. Companies in the livestock sector in the Mejia Canton, province of Pichincha are affected by an economic and cultural crisis, among others. For this reason, the objective of this research was to determine the relationship between satisfaction and labor performance, in addition to a bibliographical basis, analyze both variables, their dimensions, and their possible correlation. The research methodology is explanatory, descriptive, and quantitative since we seek to determine the possible correlation between satisfaction and performance. Therefore, positivist-based research was developed, with a quantitative approach using survey techniques according to the measurement scale for Job Satisfaction S20/23 of the authors J.L. Melía and J.M. Peiró (1998) adjusted to 23 questions separated into 5 dimensions and the instrument to define Job Performance that corresponds to the author Natalia Boada Llerena (2018) adjusted of 11 questions separated into 4 dimensions, giving a total of 34 questions for the 205 workers. The SPSS program was used, to reach a statistical analysis of reliability, normality, and correlation. As a result, an average positive correlation of 0.178 was found between the two variables. It was determined that satisfaction does have a real and authentic relationship with labor performance among workers in the livestock sector of the Mejia Canton.
