Tóm tắt:Patate is recognized as the first magical town in Ecuador, it has received praise on numerous occasions because it is an attractive touristic destination with a great potential. However, this potential has not been effectively tapped due to less than optimal management of social media advertising. These platforms offer opportunities as a means of direct communication between the user and the touristic place. This research asks the following question: Is the social network advertising having the influence on the tourism development? Therefore, the main objective of this research is to know the situation of advertising on the social network Facebook, which is dedicated to the dissemination of the different attractive touristic in Patate in order to carry out this study, a methodology with a qualitative and projective approach was proposed using the observation through guides and cards to recollect the corresponding information. In addition, Bruce Archer's systematic method for designers was implemented for the resolution of the objective concerning the creation of the style guide. In conclusion, the social network advertising doesn´t fulfill with the objective. It doesn’t achieve to connect with the user because of several shortcomings in the advertising, that is, it doesn’t contribute to the touristic development and do not take advantage of the potential of these tools. Thanks to all the information obtained and collected, it was possible to develop a style guide for the Facebook social network that includes all the theoretical and technical guidelines which are considered relevant for an effective publication.
