| Resumo: | The present project seeks to provide a photovoltaic electric generation system friendly to the environment that decreases the consumption of fossil fuels, increase the coverage of electricity service in the rural sectors of the Latacunga town that have no access to electricity supply. Solar radiation is established in the rural neighborhood of San José through data collection and subsequent analysis where the method of frequency histograms is applied, thus determining the photovoltaic potential, being the month of September the least solar radiation presented with a daily average of 344.77 w / m2; same as that used in the "design of a 3 kW photovoltaic system. The technical characteristics of the photovoltaic generation system, its place of installation and its application are established, determining the parameters to be considered for the design: loads to be fed, system demand, energy consumption determined by means of load lifting, load census and the installation of a load analyzer. Subsequently, the necessary calculations for the dimensioning of the photovoltaic generation system isolated from the network are presented; the number of modules is calculated, the number of batteries, inverter, regulator, conductor sizing and system protections is established. Finally, connection diagrams and investment budget are elaborated. |
