Özet:This thesis is based on specific applications of automation through an industrial communication network with a water pressure control process to facilitate the understanding of students on the elaboration of an industrial communication network using specialized software. The work is complemented by a group of practices using different industrial sensors that create a didactic process for the students of the subjects related to Industrial Automation. The design and implementation of a didactic module for the automation subject of the electromechanical career at the Technical University of Cotopaxi for the laboratory of the La Maná Extension was carried out. The applied methods are inductive because we started selecting components in catalogs according to established requirements and market availability for the development of the module, and experimental due to the proposed laboratory practices that allow testing its operation. The didactic module is built in stainless aluminum, with channels to place the robust bases on which the elements of industrial automation make them easy to use and manipulate when implementing basic practices. Finally, we used electrical elements: sensors, push buttons, relays, and 24 VDC source, demonstrating an excellent performance of the Didactic Module implemented, strengthening the teaching-learning process, and recommending the electromechanical laboratory staff to provide periodic preventive maintenance to the module.
