Ամփոփում:Google Classroom is a platform created by Google Company for the educational sector. Its purpose is to allow the educational community to manage the online classroom. Its strength is its ease of use. In addition, it is available for any technological device and only requires a Google account. This research project aimed to examine the teachers and students’ experiences about the use of Google Classroom in online teaching and learning in the Technical University of Cotopaxi, Major in Pedagogy of National and Foreign Languages (English) at the period April 2021 - February 2022. In this sense, the research problem identified was related to Google Classroom focused on online teaching and learning, connectivity, the lack of technological devices for virtual modality that impede teachers and students to develop their academic activities effectively. The participants were twenty-one students and six teachers of the Technical University of Cotopaxi. The quanti-quali research was conducted with the exploratory, diagnostic and descriptive approaches. The data collected were gathered through semi-structured interviews and surveys. The data analysis was divided into 5 categories from interviews and 20 closed questions from the survey that represent the participants' experiences using Google Classroom. The main results showed agreement among teachers and students regarding this platform as having more advantages than disadvantages. Its contribution is that education was not totally affected by the pandemic because of the implementation of the virtual modality, benefiting students, teachers, and parents. In effect, this helped the economy of families not to decrease significantly in the function of the expenses in the educational field. Therefore, it is evident that Google Classroom is a useful platform for online teaching and learning, only if the user has all the necessary tools and masters them correctly.
