סיכום:The present research project was carried out at the "La Playita" Experimental Center, of the Technical University of Cotopaxi, in La Maná canton. the objectives were: to evaluate the production of zucchini (Cucurbita pepo L.) with the application of organic fertilizers , to determine the treatment that best results in the production of the crop through the application of fertilizers and to make an economic evaluation of the treatments, a Completo desing al Azar (DCA) was used, with two organic fertilizers (humus of earthworm and residues of abattoirs ), A chemical fertilizer (mixture 15-15-15) and an absolute control for the cultivation of zucchini. The results of this research are: greater plant height with the abovementioned residue of slaughterhouse with 19.98 cm, while the lowest value was shown the treatment based on humus worm with an average of 17.60 cm. Regarding to the number of fruits in the best treatment presented the application of slaughterhouse residues with 24.40 cm, followed by the treatment with chemical fertilizer with 20.20 fruits, finally the smallest number of fruits was presented with the witness that barely achieved Obtain 3.80 fruits per treatment; the highest average diameter of fruits was obtained with the treatment of slaughterhouse with 11,07 cm, while the chemical fertilizer is kept constant with 10,20 cm; the best fruit weight is recorded for the treatment with application of slaughterhouse waste with 1624.95 grams per fruit, followed by the chemical fertilizer with 1021.40 grams, the inferior results were obtained with the humus worm treatment and the control register A weight of 751.61 and 487 grams respectively.
