סיכום:The research is about infant nutrition at initial level on children from 1 to 3 years was framed in the objective of analyzing the influence of infant nutrition at first year of life in on Children Development Center "Luis Fernando Ruiz", same which is located in Ignacio Flores, of the Latacunga Canton, Cotopaxi Province. The present work has addressed the problem of the deficient nutrition level on children, which affects their integral development and learning children from 1 to 3 years, for which it has become a guiding axis within the plans and public policies that regulate the operation of the Children Development Center through the Technical Standard of Integrated Children Development of the MIES, in the same way as part of the development axes established in the Initial Education Curriculum, for which the educators must emphasize the development of eating habits in this educational level. For this, a qualitative and quantitative methodology has been applied, where bibliographic design is combined with the field design, through technical-scientific information has been contrasted with the data collected from the institution, by an Interview with the coordinator of the children center, a survey to the educators and parents. The beneficiaries of this research were 81 children from 1 to 3 years old, 15 educators, a coordinator and 81 parents from the Luis Fernando Ruiz Child Development Center, at the period October 2018-January 2019. The impact that the research has reached has been described on social and educational field, providing specific data on child nutrition with the purpose that it serves as a reference for the improvement of the educational processes and practices of teachers. The results obtained in the research have allowed to determine that the food provided to children from 1 to 3 years in the institution that does not meet the established requirements on Technical Standard for Comprehensive Child Development and in the inclusion of fruits and vegetables, which provide the vast majority of micronutrients that the body requires. In the same way it has been possible to deduce that educators who do not develop an active role for the promotion of a good infant nutrition and that in the familiar context the alimentary practices are inadequate which harms the nutritional status of the infants.
