Summary:The present project mainly was based to the actual situation of the professional training where during the service in Pujilí canton through the recompilation of statistical data with the goal of contribute with relevant data to the research project in Basic Education career in The Technical University of Cotopaxi. The teaching formation has been educative scenery characterized for making emphasis in the quality of the values and equity strengthening the capacity in educative management setting in motion programs for the teacher formation, improving the situation comparing with past decades. During the running of the century, the demographic changes, the important growing of the knowledge, the abilities, techniques and the increase of capacities, contributed altogether in order to the teaching formation will leave in the majority of countries in the region accessible only to an elite, determining strategies to produce a productive and significant learning, guiding to value the importance of the level of teaching and in this way deepen the linked knowledge directly to the professional exercise. Actually the teaching formation has been increasing through seminars, training and workshops directed to the development of abilities and skills to the efficient performance and thus updating their knowledge according the work necessities which are presented in the competency area. The research was made through a field study sustaining in the application of a survey and it was applied to the teachers in the educative institutions in Pujilí so that the obtained answers by the professionals mentioned before, gave us like result that ultimately the teachers are constantly trained since it is a fundamental factor in the scholar performance specially in the improvement of teaching – learning. The teaching formation during the professional service is very important for a quality education, thus through the curricular schedule help to the teachers to identify the strategies of teaching and the analysis and pedagogical treatment of the abilities, contents, transverse topics, the values and the attitudes permitting a teacher’s performance in constant improvement.
