Achoimre:This research project was developed in the La Maná canton, on the Rey Matias farm, which lasted 90 days. Proposing as objectives: to determine the effect of creolin doses in the control of pest insects in cucumber crops (Cucumis sativus L.); Identify the best dose of creolin for pest control in this crop and establish the yield per treatment. For this, a randomized complete block design with 5 treatments was used: T1; 1 ml creolin, T2; 1.5 ml creolin, T3; 2ml of creolin T4; 2.5 ml of creolin and T5; 3 ml of creolin in a liter of water, whose frequency of application and evaluation was every seven days. The results showed the presence of two insect orders: Orthoptera of the Tettigonidae family: Stilpnochlora couloniana, whose presence caused the death of some plants due to its aggressive herbivory, and the Diptera order of the Agromyzidae family: Liriomyza huidobrensis, which were repelled with the application of any dose of creolin, T5 proving to be more effective due to the rapid control time; 3 ml of creolin. Finally, based on the yield, it can be concluded that said bio-pesticide does not influence the production of the crop, which is corroborated by analyzing its weights, the largest being T5 with an average of 13.9 kg and the smallest being T1. with 12.95 kg. Therefore, it is concluded that creolin does have a repellency and protection effect on the crop when applied preventively or before a high infestation.
