Resumo:The following project aimed to implement and develop an automation practice through a didactic module with the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC S7-1200), to control the operation of three-phase motors in the research laboratory of the Electromechanical In the Technical University of Cotopaxi La Maná where the students of this major have the option to improve their knowledge, to know how three-phase motors work the same automated through programs, controlled by a programmable automaton, speed, and other types of operation. With this project the teachers proceeded to carry out their automation practices with students, it is important and useful to know the operation of three-phase motors that are currently widely used in the workplace: factories, industries, buildings. They are controlled through software programs, using a state-of-the-art S7-1200 PLC. The method used in this research is the application of an S7-1200 PLC, which allowed us to carry out industrial control laboratory practices in the starting and inverting of three-phase motors.
