Тойм:The main festivity "El Paseo Procesional del Chagra" in Mejia Canton, is one of the most recognized cultural events in Ecuador and worldwide. It considered as Intangible Heritage of the Nation, because Mejía Canton is known as the Capital of Chagra. However, in this town there is a lack of projects, to promote the festivity Paseo Processional del Chagra, applied in various graphic products. This party promoted on July, so that, remains invisible for the rest of the year, for this reason, the present project aims is to do creative designs including their own icons, such as the main characters of this festival, and phrases that chagras conserve. Where each of the designs preserve a visual image inspired by this festivity, applied in promotional products like: notebooks and T-shirts, for young people from 19 to 25 years old, men and women, foreigners and locals, according with a technological progress, development industrial, graphic design, social development, technological and cultural initiatives, creativity to innovate and design, as an aesthetic component. For improving processes, products or services designed, taking into account certain aspects according to the context, which should be managed directly. Therefore, the project contains a proposal associated with the design with a visual promotion system linked to merchandising. For this the graphic pieces, the proposal applications are technical of their own style and within the specific areas. They consist of the different phases to design elements, concepts for products and printed media, for promoting the products as a tangible appropriation of a holiday and its culture, which will help the recognition and promotion of this popular festival, this in turn allows us to create interest and promote the importance of it. Within which the opinion of the people taken into account through the techniques of field research such as the survey and interview, to gather information and justify the proposed objectives. In the same way, using Bruno Munari's methodology, a logical process established to follow to develop an aesthetic and functional product and in the same way to encourage and create projects that improve the visibility and interest to know more about this popular festival.
