| Summary: | The present project “Games of spatial notion for development of laterality in children of Initial Education”, starts from the central problem, lack of knowledge in recreational and didactic strategies leading to a low deficit laterality and spatial children notion, therefore which aims to "design a guide of didactic games, applying spatial notion to strengthen laterality in children of Initial Education at Educational Units in Zumbahua Parish, 2023-2024 school year." The methodological design is framed in a constructivist and qualitative psychopedagogical approach, with a bibliographic, field and descriptive design for the abstraction of variables and approach to infants reality, the inductive method was applied, revealing individual behaviors and characteristics. Finally, techniques, interview and observation, were used, with their respective instruments, the question guide designed for teachers of four institutions and the observation sheet used for 48 Initial Education children. It is concluded that there is a low development level in laterality and cognitive capacity of the student, which requires adequate stimulation through play where the child can build their own knowledge, increase new skills and abilities to achieve optimal progress in their process teaching – learning. |
