| Shrnutí: | The objective of the present research was to determine the presence of Brucella canis and its related factors, in El Rosal and Salatilín neighborhoods in Mulaló parish; these blood samples were taken from 75 domestic dogs, these samples were properly obtained, then were brought under the Rapid Test Kit for Brucella canis. In order to establish the related factors, we carried out surveys and clinical records, with the information provided by the owners of the canines. The results obtained from this research of the Rapid Test Kit analysis in the blood samples, concluded that in El Rosal and Salatilín neighborhoods according to Mulaló Parish there was no presence of Brucella canis. Regarding to the most important related factors : 95% of the canines live in the yard of the house, 90% of the canines live on a soil floor, 95% of canines have a spacios place to live, 61% interact with other species, 100% of the canines have not ingested abortion products, in the 75% of the canines the feeding frequency is twice a day, in the 64% of the canines the type of feeding is home cooked meals , 81% of the canines are never taken to the veterinarian, 100% have not had reproductive diseases of the male canine reproductive system, 100% of the canines have not consumed dead animals and 100% of the canine population has presented a Negative presense of Brucella canis. At the end of this research, the citizens were aware of the responsibility of owning domestic canines this was possible through talks and conferences about the respective health care and management, in the population of El Rosal and Salatilín neighborhoods of Mulaló Parish. |
