| סיכום: | This thesis works towards innovation in the teaching area through the establishment of methodological strategies that would allow the activation of cognitive processes of fifth-grade elementary school students, classroom "C from• FAE School No. 5 located in Latacunga township. For this purpose, It’s been used the methodology of critical socio-paradigm, qualitative, bibliographic-documentary and field design to achieve a level of exploratory and descriptive research through the application of survey techniques, interviews and observation sheets to parents, teachers and students respectively. The beneficiaries of the research process were the students, teachers, authorities and parents of the institution, who participated actively and cooperatively in the research process, thus showing interest in the problem under investigation. The contribution of research at the theoretical level has been the compilation of scientific concepts that have supported the importance of strengthening the activation of cognitive processes. In the educational context, activating cognitive processes favors pedagogical work through more open and dynamic methodologies which stimulates the development of thought, creativity and imagination. As a result of the research it has been possible to establish the existence of teachers who do not know the use of methodological strategies for the activation of cognitive processes. |
