| Samenvatting: | The digital divide is considered as inequality in access to technologies, as well as in use skills and even how Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are being used. This research project has as aim to: determine the causes and consequences that affect the digital divide, to optimize the teaching and learning process of students of the Bachelor's Degree in Basic Education of the Technical University of Cotopaxi, through the application of a methodological guide of digital tools, in the health crisis of COVID 19, in 2020. The research has a qualitative approach, with regard to the research methodology, general research methods were used: inductive, deductive and descriptive; the research technique used was the interview, with its respective research tool, which was applied to students and teachers of the Basic Education career and a bibliographic theoretical support was made based on texts from books, magazines and articles scientists. The theoretical contribution of the research will provide students and teachers with updated information regarding the analysis of the digital divide in education, and the digital tools necessary for the teaching and learning process. The investigative work is viable, it has the human talent and the material resources necessary to carry out the investigation, the authorization of the teachers was obtained to collect data for the proposal. As a contribution of the research, a methodological guide of educational digital tools will be implemented, for its application in the teaching-learning process of the professional training of students, aimed at teachers and students of the Basic Education Career of the Technical University of Cotopaxi. |
