Sammanfattning:The objective of this research is to determine the impact of psychological empowerment on intrapreneurial behavior in public sector organizations. This project is carried out due to the lack of knowledge of this tool and its almost null application in this sector, so that it can serve as a practical guide for this type of institutions, allowing them to make an organizational change, thus improving management and intra-entrepreneurial culture to lead to better development. To measure psychological empowerment, Spreitzer's (1995) instrument with four dimensions (meaning, competence, self-determination and impact) was applied; and to evaluate intra-entrepreneurial behavior, the instrument proposed by Covin and Slevin (1991) with six dimensions (innovation, risk-taking, proactivity, autonomy, achievement orientation, entrepreneurial vision) was used. Non-experimental research was used, with a quantitative, correlational and cross-sectional approach. The instruments were applied to 192 employees of public sector service entities, and were subjected to reliability processes using the SPSS program, with an internal consistency level of 0.967. The results found have a high impact on the public sector since it shows that psychological empowerment has a strong impact on intra-entrepreneurial behavior because it allows each worker to achieve better results and be more committed to the achievement of personal goals and objectives. From the data it could be concluded that there is a significance of 0.00 in the constructs of intrapreneurial behavior, which means that it does depend on psychological empowerment.
