Zusammenfassung:The goal of this technological proposal is the electronic device implementation that typifies and quantifies gases derived from carbon such as: Carbon Monoxide, Carbon Dioxide, Methane, and Benzene. This action will define the gas analysis importance in order to determine risk levels when entering or remaining for a certain time in the study places. The field analysis carried out is focused on small and medium enterprises located in San Felipe Sector, Latacunga City, Cotopaxi province. Under these electronic device parameters were designed and implemented with quantitative and experimental methodology. It determines the technical specifications, the device has a microcontroller, sensors categorized as electrochemical duly calibrated with mathematical processes. The device has a microcontroller, sensors categorized as electrochemical duly calibrated with mathematical and computational processes and through a reference standard that can monitor changes in real-time of each of the gases under study and with the ability to be displayed through an LCD type screen and an App designed in a software development environment for Android operating system. It is linked through wireless communication protocols. Also, it can issue alarm messages of visual and audible type when it comes to exceeding hazard values of each of the gases under study. The risk values of gas concentration levels are determined by national and international agencies that regulate air quality. The electronic device implementation determined according to the analyses carried out in companies called electromechanical and chicken slaughtering plants that Co2 is predominant with its presence since in each analysis it oscillates between values of 400 ppm to 550 ppm. It should be emphasized that the greenhouse gas’s manifestation is produced by human respiration and the typical atmospheric concentration is from 350 to 450 ppm and CH4 methane was only present in the chicken slaughtering plants with the highest concentration with average values of 172. 62 ppm, in contrast to CO and C6H6. These elements showed fairly low concentration values. Accordingly, it is determined that these are acceptable air quality values.
