The present project conducted its research in the canton of Pujilí with the objective of the objective of determining the tourism potential that exists in it, for which three specific objectives were proposed to carry out the project. In the first one, an analysis of the inventory of tourist attractions already existing in the canton of Pujilí, a review of the cadaster, field trips to all the parishes of the canton where the attractions in the current inventory were identified and confirmed, the presence of a new tourist attraction located in the parish of El Tingo La Esperanza, which is not present in the inventory of tourist attractions, was determined, For this purpose, the MINTUR methodology was used, the card that serves for the survey and ranking of tourist attractions helped to collect relevant information to determine a record and assessment of the state in which the attraction is based on the diagnosis of the current state of the area, with a focus on tourism in the canton through the recognition of the study area, and the analysis of cards of attractions and the tourist plant. In the second objective, the SWOT matrix was constructed through an interview with people who work directly in the tourism area, relating it to the 3 matrices used additionally, MEFE, MEFI, MEFE-MEFI in order to determine their level of benefit or weakness, strategic points were established in the study area for the application of surveys directed to nationals and foreigners. Based on the Sandoval 2006 matrix, the potential indicators were modified according to the existing variables in each parish, granting a rating determined through the evaluation of each indicator. Finally, an academic article was prepared as a means of disseminating the completed project, which will be published in the journal RENPYS to publicize the results achieved. |
