Ychwanegu Tag | Crynodeb: | In the present investigation, a total of 63 epilithic diatom species were identified, associated with the level of eutrophication of the Pumacunchi River in the province of Cotopaxi; Sampling was carried out at three points established by geographic information systems (ARCGIS), thus recognizing the most influential species that are relevant in the study; at point one named as a high point located near the thaw of the Illinizas at the coordinates x: 754957; and: 9917898 UTM and with a height of 3320 masl, it was possible to find the presence of 8 abundant species that are: Humidophila contenta, Nitzschia linearis, Navicula rostellata, Planothidium incuriatum, Ulnaria ulna, Navicula cryptocephala kutzing, Nupela pardinhoensis, Humidophila subtropica. At point two called midpoint located in the parish of Guaytacama at coordinates x: 765130; and: 9895275 UTM and height 2738 meters above sea level, 8 species were identified that are abundant: Frustuia guayanensis ssp. ecuadoriana, Cocconeis lineata, Planothidium bagualense, Luticula goeppertiana, Sellaphora auldreekie, Gomphonema brasiliensoide metzeltin, Gomphonema sp, Gomphoneis elegans clevei, and at point three or low point located in Latacunga in the San Rafael neighborhood at coordinates x: 762600; and: 9906495 UTM and with a height of 2881 msnm, were located 12 diatom species among the most abundant are: Navicula lanceolata, Fallacia meridionalis metzeltin, Navicula cryptotenella, Cocconeis fluviatilis, Humidophila lacunosa, Gomphonema parvulum, Navicula tripunctata, Gomphonema lagenula, Humidophila happy, Nitzschia umbonata, Navicula germainii, Gomphonema sp. |
