| Sammanfattning: | The strengthening and revitalization of community tourism in the rural sectors of Ecuadorian sierra has been limited by poor research in this area, both the community and tourists are unaware of the cultural identity of La Cocha, the purpose of this research was to develop a cultural revitalization plan in community tourism in the sector. The field phase consists of the application of surveys carried out on 138 people in the community, obtaining their openness and feasibility, as well as the application of the INPC and MINTUR file, which with the data could be obtained from each inventoried tourist attraction: 3 resources natural and 7 cultural, in which it is evidenced and being necessary the training to the community, signage and information in the tourist area, therefore, a revitalization plan is established to rescue the cultural identity, which is based on promoting values, teachings and learning and is based on practical examples that help cultural revaluation, seeking the revival of community tourism to restore cultural, social and environmental memory of the sector; developing activities aimed at strengthening the sites and tourist attractions offered by the sector and benefiting 1385 residents of the Kichwa community and areas of indirect influence of the place promoting sustainable development. |
