| Итог: | The current research project is focused on technological innovation by implementing a system of scheduling and control of medical appointments for decision-making at the Más Sonrisas dental clinic in La Maná Canton where adequate research was conducted for the design and development of a website system to optimize the processes and expedite patient care. The use of tools such as interviews and surveys has made it possible to obtain information, the software requirements, and the problems that the web system needs to address. In technical programming terms, the frontend was implemented for the development of web pages, the HTML5 language is used for CSS styles and interactive scripts such as JavaScript together with the Bootstrap design framework. On the other hand, the backend used the programming language PHP to guarantee the security of information, while for the storage of files, the researchers worked with the manager oriented to web services phpMyAdmin. The reliability of the portal was ensured by implementing an SSL certification. So the use of business intelligence tools such as PowerBI allowed to transform data into useful information for decision-making within the clinic. The Scrum methodology is used to facilitate the development process of each activity, as well as its fast adaptation to changes, allowing the analysis of requirements, design, development, and performance tests. With this implementation, it was feasible to demonstrate the optimization of processes in patient care, with a relevant impact on the technological, environmental, and economic aspects of the dental clinic. |
