“Respuesta agronómica del cultivo de banano (Musa paradisiaca) a la aplicación de ácidos húmicos”.

The agronomic response of the Banana (Musa paradisiaca) crop to the application of humic acids was carried out in the "El Belén" area of La Mana, Cotopaxi province. The Completely randomized experimental design with four treatments and a control with four repetitions was used, statistical analysis with the Tukey test at 5% probability. The treatments were distributed as follows: (T0 150 g of NPK; T1 150g.NPK + 10 cc of humic acid; T2 150g. Of NPK + 7.5 cc of humic acid; T3 112,5 g. Of NPK + 10 cc of humic acid; T4 112,5 g. Of NPK + 7.5 cc of humic acid). The variables were: plant height, pseudostem diameter, number of functional leaves of mother and child plant, days to flowering (acorn insertion), days to harvest, bunch weight (kg), number of bunch hands, number of fingers in the first hand, length and diameter of the central finger, cluster ratio. The results obtained were: height of the mother plant 247.25 cm in T4 son 224.38 in T0, diameter of the mother pseudostem 78.88 cm in T4 son 66.38 cm in T1; number of functional leaves mother 7 in T0 and 11.63 son T3, days to flowering 17.75 days in T2; days to harvest T3 with 92, 38 days; bunch weight T1 with 14.95 Kg.; number of hands T4 with 5 hands; number of fingers 19.94 T1; central finger length T3 24.75 cm; diameter of central finger 13.11 cm at T3; Cluster ratio 0.77 in T1.
