Summary:The present research project consists on determining the level of labor Burnout (physical and mental fatigue) in the teachers of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences from the Technical University of Cotopaxi. For this purpose, the quantitative methodology was used based on a defined study problem. The technique of the survey was directed to the teachers of the Faculty. Through the instrument, called the Questionnaire for the Evaluation of Burns in the Workplace (CESQT) developed and validated by international standards according to the authors Gil-Monte, Unda and Sandoval in 2008, which was applied to a population of 66 teachers, 33 female and 33 male, whose data were tabulated in the Microsoft Excel program. The percentage of the results obtained from this investigation correspond, 53% to the dimensions Illusion for the work; Psychic Wear and Indolence, giving as consequence to suffer of moderate labor stress whereas 9% of the teachers suffer the syndrome of Burnout, since they present the 4 dimensions carrying high percentages in the dimensions of Indolence, Psychic Wear and Guilt and 3% in Illusion by the work. The beneficiary of this research is the Institution through its teachers of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, and the treatment between teachers, students, administrative staff and workers could be contemplated.
