| סיכום: | An isolated system was realized to control the speed in the quarry “San Joaquín 2”, where a 210 KW CAT 3306 generator set was observed, which had an automatic speed regulation system, composed in two essential parts for its functioning; a control system made up of transducers which send signals to an electronic card in which the signals are processed and a new signal is sent to the second part of the speed regulation system that is formed by an actuator, which is responsible for accelerating or decelerating the generator set based on the demand that is requested. In the course of the developed project, it was investigated about the processes and signals that intervene in a control process in a generator set and its respective operation, so several alternatives were announced to achieve our objectives, and thus be able to select the best alternative, so the decision was made to make an isolated system for the speed control of the 210 KW CAT 3306 generator set, using a microcontroller and with the support of an inductive transducer, which will be responsible for receiving a signal issued by the steering wheel of the generator set, and through the microcontroller send another signal to the mechanical part comprised by a servomotor to accelerate or decelerate according to the existing demand in the quarry. At the same time, the isolated system receives signals with current and voltage sensors respectively, and with the microcontroller, data is sent on a screen and so visualize the reading of charges and voltage. |
