El trabajo realizado dentro del Centro Educativo Intercultural y Bilingüe "Sumak Kawsay” se da por la acogida de estudiantes, lo cual ha provocado que los niños en la etapa preparatoria no tengan un buen desarrollo de las nociones básicas relacionadas a las matemáticas, que indirectamente se relaciona con el pensamiento lógico matemático esto provocado por la falta de estrategias innovadoras, por lo cual el estudio mantiene como objetivo general evaluar la influencia de los juegos etnomatemáticos en el aprendizaje de los niños de Preparatoria, para el desarrollo del estudio se utilizó una metodología cualitativa, con un enfoque descriptivo y analítico mediante el uso de herramientas de recolección de datos como listas de cotejo, entrevistas y observaciones de campo; los resultados permitieron reconocer las falencias, así como las destrezas que se deben reforzar con la ayuda de los docentes y las metodologías adecuadas en cada caso.
