| description | In this project, the analysis of the distribution system of the Empress Eléctrica de Cotopaxi (ELEPCO SA) to evaluate the disturbances caused by blackouts or by short circuit of the electrical system, the present investigation will develop a study based on the evaluation criterion N-1 (contingency analysis) obtaining greater reliability and security in the distribution system. Through the general single-line diagram belonging to the company ELEPCO S.A., the modeling of the distribution system network was established in the PowerFactory software, allowing to verification the security of a system in normal conditions and disturbances. These violations may cause partial or controlled system outages. The purpose of this research work is to analyze the effect that the contingencies caused by interruptions have on the voltage level of the components in the Cotopaxi electrical system, to select and classify all the contingencies according to their case of study and consequently apply corrective action. Next, through the simulation using the software Digsilent PowerFactory student version 2021, the contingencies and reliability of the system will be calculated analytically, comparing that the voltage levels comply with the proposed regulation ARCNNER 002/20, of the information available in the database of the electrical company ELEPCO SA. |

Por medio del diagrama unifilar general perteneciente a la empresa ELEPCO S.A., se estableció el modelamiento de la red del sistema de distribución en el software PowerFactory permitiendo verificar la seguridad de un sistema en condiciones normales y de perturbaciones. Estas violaciones pueden suscitar interrupciones del sistema de manera parcial o controlada. El propósito de este trabajo de investigación es analizar el efecto que tienen las contingencias provocadas con interrupciones sobre el nivel de voltaje que tienen los componentes en el sistema eléctrico de Cotopaxi, para seleccionar y clasificar todas las contingencias según su particular caso de estudio y en consecuencia aplicar la acción correctiva.
