Crynodeb:With the purpose of knowing the production of turnip potato cultivation (Brassica rapa) with the application of organic fertilizers, an essay was established in the La Playita Experimental Center of the Technical University of Cotopaxi whose objectives were: to determine the agronomic behavior of the turnip potato, check the best organic fertilizer and perform the economic analysis of the treatments. The test lasted 90 days, two organic were used as earthworm humus and slaughterhouse waste in front of a control (without fertilizer), a total of 162 plants divided in the three treatments, nine repetitions and six plants were used as unit experimental, a randomized complete block design (DBCA) was used, fertilizer and soil analyzes were performed, the variables that were evaluated were leaf length in cm (LH), leaf width (AH), weight of the root in grams (PR), yield per plot and total in addition to the economic analysis with the benefit / cost ratio. The fertilizers presented a pH of slightly acid to acid with 6.35 and 5.50 with organic matter levels of 39.51 to 36.09%, the soil presented a pH of 5.60 medium acid, with organic matter of 3 , 90%, the greatest length and width of leaf was registered in the earthworm humus from 7 to 28 days. The largest per plot, edges and total was recorded with earthworm humus with 2250.30 g. In the benefit / cost ratio none of the treatments presented benefits, the fertilizers generated a good production but the market price of the vegetable did not generate income.
