| Samenvatting: | This research work was carried out in San Juan de Pastocalle-Latacunga province of Cotopaxi, in order to promote community tourism existing in this sector, it is worth mentioning that the main problem of this site is the lack of diffusion of its natural and cultural attractive, for that reason a study was carried out to identify said bankruptcy and offer possible solutions. In this project we used the qualitative-quantitative methodology, to analyze the data obtained were used as techniques: two different surveys applied to the association Sara Allpa who are in charge of promoting community tourism in the area and the other survey was aimed at tourists entering the sector. On the other hand, it was considered necessary to develop three questionnaires for the interviews conducted with Latacunga radio director Ms.C Eduardo Guerrero, the Ministry of Tourism Engineer Luis Choloquinga and the president of the association Sara Allpa, Mr. Javier Toaquiza; these three sources of information were essential to understand the importance of radio promotion, the needs and strengths that community tourism should possess. The results obtained after the research show the different needs of community tourism within the city and with it the lack of promotion of attractions through a communication product. The visitors' survey revealed that these advertising deficiencies should be strengthened to improve the economy and development of the city, and the interest of tourists to know the attractions, traditions and customs of the sector. This research contributes with data on the current situation of community tourism in the city, at the same time contributes with a possible proposal to create a communication product that will improve the work carried out by the association Sara Allpa for the benefit of its community tourism. The social, economic and cultural impacts will be a support to offer the promotion of community tourism within the city, since tourists will be able to share activities with the community and interact with them, in addition it will favor both the city and visitors because they will know their traditions and customs that still remain intact over time, will finally help the whole city allowing them to develop and at the same time possess income. |
