Add Tag | Summary: | This technological proposal was carried out in the Municipality of Latacunga city, where the problem of the inadequate use of the Hardware maintenance control process was identified, whose maintenance control processes were carried out manually on record sheets, wasting an excessive time and office supplies. The objective of this technological proposal is to develop a web application in order to automate the maintenance control process using free software tools. For this research project the descriptive, field and bibliographic methodology was used, where the interview and observation as techniques and data collection instruments were highlighted, in order to understand the problem and identify the main needs. The project was carried out applying software tools such as PHP, HTML, SQL and PostgreSQL, the incremental iterative agile development methodology was also applied for the development of the web application and the UML modeling language for the design of the diagrams. As a result, the systematization and automation were obtained in the fact of optimizing the management of processes such as reducing the time of the hardware maintenance control process, reducing the acquisition of different types of resources, avoiding human errors, and partially and favorably solving the problem of the municipality. Among the conclusions, it stands out that by implementing the web application in the municipality, process management was optimized, increasing the satisfaction of the director of the ICT department and employees of the municipality of Latacunga city. |
