Description
Summary:At present, a rupture of the artisan tradition is detected, among other circumstances due to the changes of the times and, above all, because there are no means of diffusion that help the artisans to obtain information based on cultural history, which contributes to the innovation of ideas for the elaboration of their crafts. The Panzaleo culture, like many others, is presented only in museums in an unattractive and restricted way. One of the projects developed by the Technical University of Cotopaxi was the PANZALEO project, whose objective was the inclusion of pre-Hispanic cultural expressions from the Panzaleo parish in modern graphic design, as a result an image bank with scientific technical bases was obtained.
