La Didáctica en el desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas básicas en los niños/as de la Unidad Educativa Particular San José La Salle en el año lectivo 2020- 2021.

This report reveals the results of a study carried out, aimed at solving the following research problem: How to develop basic cognitive skills in the boys and girls of the San José “La Salle” Educational Unit? The objective was to develop a system of exercises to develop basic cognitive skills in the students of the San José La Salle Private Educational Unit; For which the researcher relied on a quantitative research approach and theoretical and empirical research methods are used that served to develop the system of exercises to develop the cognitive ability to solve mathematical problems in elementary school students, which responds to the required needs of the teaching - learning process; and it was applied taking into consideration the technique of brain exercises that combine physical and mental strategies allowing students to activate neurons for better learning and problem solving methodology that helped to understand the steps to follow with the assistance of the exercise method; The system of exercises applied in the second year students of Parallel B basic of the San José La Salle Educational Unit was an excellent option to develop basic cognitive skills, especially the ability to solve mathematical problems, therefore, the partial product obtained allowed verify that basic cognitive skills are developed.
