| Summary: | The present investigation work performs the evaluation of the noise induced risk factor at the company Cereales La Pradera in the milling area, to determine if the noise levels present affect the health of the workers, in order to propose a prevention manual to allow risk mitigation. It begins with the implementation of the acoustic comfort survey of the personnel of the milling area, which establishes the perception that the workers have about the presence of noise in their place of work, and concluded that the level of noise of the area is high. Based on these results we analyze the risk factors with the greatest impact using the qualitative matrix of the INSHT that considers probability and consequence, by means of which has been concluded that the presence of noise induced risk within the milling area is an estimated level of MODERATE. To further deepen this investigation a study is carried out of the Sound Pressure Level in the workstation of the milling area. The study uses the engineering method according to the UNEEN ISO 9612:2009 regulation. The results of the evaluations establish that the noise levels within the area are between 85.8 dBA in the receiving hopper of processed product and at least 93.4 dBA in the suction system these values are above the maximum allowed by The Ecuadorian legislation that is 85 dBA. The hypothesis that is proved is that at these levels in which tasks are carried out in the different workstations, if immediate preventive action is not taken this will result in health consequences such as occupational otopathies to workers in the area of milling. The in-depth study of work noise determined the presence of this factor at a risk level of INTOLERABLE for the workers, so based on these results a prevention manual was developed in which preventive measures are determined to reduce risk, measures which should be complemented with a program of vigilance to the health of the exposed workers. |
