Riassunto:For the present research topic is proposed as a general objective Waste evaluation to improve the productivity of the Scalpi Cosmetic Company, the hypothesis indicates that the Scrap in the production lines, losses of time and quality affect the overall efficiency of equipment and processes. It was approached with the evaluation of the productive performance by means of quantitative variables based on service and performance levels, later we proceeded to the identification of the most important waste factors, with statistical tools, graphs, cause-effect analysis, paretos, Minitab Then the assessment of the portfolio of production families, work areas and machines was carried out, and the prevalence of the exposure of all the factors that cause waste detected as unfavorable for the improvement of processes was determined Based on the results found mainly at the end of 2015 and the first half of 2016, whose waste value was 8.87% and 5.25%, the use of statistical controls is recommended for the measurement of the global waste indicator, from which the following were obtained: results 3.98% of general waste, so there are opportunities to improve this indicator through the implementation of new Good Manufacturing Practices programs as the total productive that will lead to a better use of the materials, as well as constant training to the collaborators so that they are an active part of the continuous improvement.
