Achoimre:The present project developed in the Chipe Hamburgo 2 area, El Triunfo, canton La Maná, with the following objectives: To determine the most suitable substrate for planting teak plants, to analyze the interaction between the substrates and the biostimulants applied, and to analyze the production costs of the project. A completely randomized block experimental design was used with a 2x2+1 factorial arrangement with factor A: substrate and factor B: biostimulants, with five treatments and five replications. The following variables were evaluated: germination percentage (%), days to germination (d), number of leaves (u), plant height (cm), and trunk diameter (cm), at 30, 60, 90, and 120 days. The results obtained show a higher germination percentage with the rice husk substrate and phytohormones with 100% of germinated seedlings, the shortest germination time with the same treatment with 16.24 days from sowing, the highest number of leaves with treatment 3 with 5.36, 6.59, 8.48, 9.56 in all the ages evaluated. The best results in plant height obtained with rice husk and phytohormones with 16.16, 22.62, 27.94, and 34.39 in all ages studied. For trunk diameter, the best results were recorded with the rice husk substrate and phytohormones with averages of 0.52, 0.60, 1.15, and 1.32 cm at all ages. The best treatment in terms of cost and seedling characteristics was the rice husk substrate plus biostimulants with a net benefit of USD 7.21.
