| Gaia: | Ecuador is a country that has several renewable energy sources for the generation of electricity, but currently the generation of electricity is led by hydroelectric plants, this method is the most common and the most used due to the large amount of tributaries in most of the national territory. When carrying out an analysis of population growth and the settlement of people in rural areas and far from the National Interconnected System (SNI) which is in charge of the distribution and commercialization of this basic service in the country, it can be stipulated that it does not reach to cover all these sectors. This entails seeking and proposing alternatives for energy generation, thus promoting the development and use of renewable energies for the conception of electricity, a clear example of several of the natural resources that the Ecuadorian territory provides for electricity generation is wind energy. which is available in most of the Ecuadorian area. This option has not been fully explored or taken advantage of due to economic and social factors that make it difficult to implement these systems. In the present technological proposal, the use of this renewable energy is proposed in combination with a non-traditional construction material for the design and implementation of generation systems, such as the bamboo plant, which has been considered for several years as natural steel. . In order to obtain a significant scope of the technological proposal, studies and field investigations were previously carried out on the behavior of the wind and the material in the place of implementation of the system, resulting in the dimensioning of the components that make up the wind turbine, its performance and a economic comparison between a bamboo wind turbine and one found on the market. |
