| Summary: | This research project was carried out to purpose diagnosing importance of children's songs to develop reading and writing in pre-school children, specifically in "Santa María del Rosario" Private Basic Education School, located in Quito Canton, Pichincha Province, 9 zone. The generalities and relative aspects of the subject to be treated were taken into account, which is why it begins with the justification where the reason for the investigation is specified, the contributions, beneficiaries, feasibility and its practical utility. To carry out this research, a bibliographic review was carried out within the educational field using the same qualitative approach that allowed obtaining real information the direct interaction between the researcher and study object, with data help collection techniques and instruments, which helped in obtaining the results. The investigation was achieved thanks to used instruments such as: observation sheet and checklist, these being keys for data collection which allowed to accumulate information for creation of new knowledge. Finally, once the research process has been analyzed, it is concluded that Children's Songs are important for development of oral and written language from learning initial stage, allowing to consolidate the acquisition of new vocabulary and creation of basic knowledge for the initiation of pre-reading and pre-writing within school environment, in order to achieve comprehensive and harmonious development in children with language problems. |
