| Riassunto: | This research focused on the problem detected in the PROLASE company. It has inconveniences due to the process taking too much time and the need to improve the design of the industrial plant. The investigation aims to optimize the production processes in the PROLASE company to enhance productivity in elaborating 1200 and 9000 gr pieces of cheese. This study is a descriptive investigation with an inductive method that applies research techniques such as direct observation, survey, bibliography, and time measurement record. The gathering of the information was the next on-site visit. In addition, a layout was elaborated to recognize the plant and diagrams to analyze the production chain processes. Finally, a time study was carried out to identify the company’s current state and determine a proposal, which increased the efficiency of the process in the piece of cheese of 1200 gr of 26% with a profit of 0.09 cents, and the amount of cheese of 9000 gr 10% with a gain of 0.18 cents. This value helps the administration make decisions to promote the development of PROLASE by improving the work environment and taking advantage of its resources efficiently. |
